If it involves media or making something impossible happen on TV, Joaquin has probably done it. With over 30 years of experience in Radio and Television at the national, regional and local levels, he brings deep industry knowledge, adaptability and a Rolodex of friends that could run a small country. He’s been happily “faking it till he makes it” for 59 years.
A San Diego native, Joaquin has lived in nine states and fifteen cities. His spirit animal is a chameleon, earned through a lifetime of being a military brat. His claim to fame includes winning a car on The Price Is Right and surviving a “stupid human trick” that involved stuffing himself into a sofa bed. He loves donuts, surfing, soccer, and golf. If you see him at an event, he’ll be sitting on the left side of his wife and facing the entrance door. Always.
Joaquin brings integrity, humor and genuine connection to everything he does, guided by his father’s advice to protect your good name above all else. He’s known for quietly delivering his best work, building long-lasting relationships and never forgiving grocery stores for selling hot dogs and buns in mismatched quantities.
